You just described my exact experience when I wanted to watch Demolition Man. That's how I found out that there's an international version where Taco Bell was replaced with Pizza Hut. Literally the only difference in the movie. Madness.

We still have Blockbuster in Mexico... don't know why, but I still enjoy going there and yes I also have a Netflix acc, but there's something in renting a physical copy of a movie that makes the whole weekend movie nights experience more enjoyable.

It may seem ridiculous to some, but movie night lost a bit of the fun when video stores became obsolete. I miss the days of going to the BB with my family or significant other and actually physically holding the boxes, reading descriptions and collectively picking out a few movies. Sure, returning them was a pain but nostalgia or not, I'll miss Blockbuster. RIP

Thankfully still have a local Bluckbuster out there in the dark Woods (Denmark). Hands Down is the cheapest store for game/used games too. Ordered a replacement 360 basic 250gb from them just a few months back for £80-ish and when it arrieved it turned out to include Forza 4 & Skyrim to my surprice .. sure its a older bundle but Gamestop and all the other shops still wants £150 for that one :)

I just like going to a rental place because there's something more fun about it. Also if you live in a rural area with slow internet, streaming just isn't a viable option. Thankfully the rental places where I live are still open though.

Also Dan could just have signed up for a Netflix mail subscription if he still wants his physical movies.

I used to love going to Blockbuster. Now if I miss something at the theater, I just have to hope it streams on Netflix. I will not pay more than one subscription fee to get twenty different sites to give me the second-best version of the movie I'm looking for! I won't do it!
