This is my 4th visit to the orthodontics and the wire they use in this visit seems to be less tighter than the one before is that normal or do I need to let them know from my understanding they have to tighten your teeth more every time you go for your appointments.

i have treated thousand of patients for over 17 years, i have never need to tighten any of wire. and the finishing case are very very nice, no pain at all. no need to tighten just let the wire work themselves.

Hi! I got a new wire today (I am very early in in my braces treatment); they put a black wire on my upper teeth where I have ceramic braces. I'm just wondering if there is a technical reason why this wire is a different color than the usual silver colored ones, since I would want my braces to be less visible???
