Oh so this is how they do it! I sometimes take a video during adjustments but from the side (so I wouldn’t be a nuisance). I never see the top view. This is cool. Thanks for sharing!

Is it supposed to hurt when they’re retightening? I asked my friends and they said it shouldn’t. They put the wire and then the bands and then start pulling on the wire.🗿 worst pain ever

This is annoying. My mom’s car gets HORRIBLE gas mileage (and gas prices are so high). We have to drive an hour to get to my ortho appointment and it only takes a few minutes???? Lol, thanks for the vid

I’m an adult with braces and I haven’t seen any progress for the 6 weeks that I’ve had it, went for first appointment I think ortho didn’t see any change either so they’d just let me change the band color 😂 I think it was weird but I supposed it’s good to change band just in case those snap when brushing teeth, and I brush my teeth religiously 😅

I got my braces on only the upper teeth...it's been 3 days and it's sore n tender...i could feel the pressure... waiting to get that cute smile which was a biggest wish ever...I'm 30 now😢😢

I already had gone in 3 adjustment sessions. Is it normal that I don't feel any pain even after adjustment. Most of the people with braces I've talked to said that it hurts when braces were adjusted so I'm little bit confuse

For anyone who is looking for this comment, I'm here to help!
I got my braces 2 days ago, and it hurts to chew, I got upper braces only, since I have a crossbite, and it does hurt to chew, but it's not that bad. It depends on the person I guess but for me it hurts when I eat but it's not unbearable. I can eat stuff like chicken nuggets if I use the side of my mouth to chew slightly.

It does hurt the sides of my mouth, and there is cuts, but I just distract myself and the pain goes away, I don't use painkillers, but I eat ice cream or something cold for pain.

And apparently it takes 3-5 days or even a week for it not to hurt to chew down on food and to be able to eat normally. So it will take another few days for me but I'm looking forward to it! :))

Also apparently you feel the same discomfort when you get them refitted and they change wire so it'll be another 3-5 days pain when you do get them refitted. :D

Edit: Im also getting my braces off in eight months so a short amount of time for me since the cross bite isn't major and it wasn't a must to get braces I just wanted them to have straight teeth 💀🙏

Edit 2: had them for about 2 months now, and I have red ones now! They don't hurt anymore but now I have the problem of the wire sticking out a bit from one side😭😭 and it's not just the problem for these ones cuz before the last refitting they still came out from one side, also when u get them refitted, they don't hurt at all so scratch the 3-5 day pain, cuz there's none at all, it just feels normal :D

Hey ur reply is much much needed got my braces one year ago and from four months my orthodontist is not changing anything no wire no modules nothing ...she just changes my elastics says that changing modules wire or anything is not required so she only changes the elastics ....also i have deep and over bite ...but still my overbite is not cured i personally send uh my pics? ...if u can see and jst tell should i change my dentist or my treatment is going right or not?

It’s been a nightmare for me! I got my braces on a month ago & 3 visits later b4 my 1 month, wires were poking me & the orthodontist said to me, u have a sensitive mouth; boy I lost it!!! Finally i got an other orthodontist & he saw the problem after 3 emergency visits!!! This has been a pain in the A**
