Adding a Second Monitor to your NVR and Setting Custom Views (Tutorial)

With our new firmware updates over the last year, users with PRO series NVRs will be able to use 2 individual screens with unique layouts. *NOTE* Non-PRO NVR users will still be able to follow this video and can have a redundant (copied) screen for their second monitor. Hey i know this is a basic question, but i cannot find the answer anywhere and it is going to be awkward to run a HDMI to where i want it so need to make sure it works if i do. I wondered if you can help. I want to connect my reolink nvr to 1 tv via HDMI. Can i control what camera is viewed from the TV via the TV remote, or would i have to have a mouse connected to the NVR to change the camera viewed etc? Thanks

This bothers me...VGA was phased out at least 10 years ago. How come a 5MPX or higher video recorder...requires a VGA input?? How come this tech is still so oldschool while at the same time being the latest and greatest?
