(1) You can connect any number of monitors using these steps, depending on how many monitors your graphics card supports. As an example, the NVIDIA RTX 3080 supports up to 4 monitors simultaneously.
(2) For projecting to a laptop screen (5:42), if you notice sluggish performance, try using a hardwired connection via ethernet.
