Plane crash lands on street, burst into flames in Hawthorne

Two people were critically injured when a small plane crashed and burst into flames on a street in Hawthorne overnight.

Its common knowledge for pilots to choose an empty street for a possible landing in case of emergency. And I grew up in Inglewood and am quite familiar with that area, as we had relatives that lived in Hawthorne area as well. I'm glad the pilot and passenger survived. As a former pilot, myself, the saying was, "Any landing you can walk away from, was a good landing!" 😮

I just did a comment on this issue last night All this small planes and choppers need s to be ban from Los Angeles Airport s way too often people dealing with this accident s all the small aircraft OUT of Los Angeles. And O C they are a treat mayor hazard for a lot of people

They should close ALL CIVIL AVIATION AIR PARK'S ! There's no more need for PRIVATE PLANES, they all run on FOSSIL FUEL so I think I can get the environmentalists on my side of the issue.
