Plane Makes Insane Emergency Landing on Busy Road

Washington State Trooper Clint Thompson never expected to make a traffic stop like this. When he spotted a small plane coming down toward busy Pacific Avenue in Pierce County, Washington, he turned on his flashing lights and followed it, CBS Seattle affiliate KIRO reported. The pilot, David Acklam, had lost power and was struggling to find a safe place to land. With the trooper's help, he managed to bring the plane down on the road safely and no one was injured. #InsideEdition

Props to that pilot for not freaking out under pressure, finding the safest landing spot, and controlling the situation to a halt. Some people would probably panic and accidentally crash. This could’ve been another tragic story for the books.
