The 2017 MT09 with what looks like a bug eye headlights, is still the best MT09 design in my opinion.
Looks very good in all color.
This 2024 one you gotta go with black because not everyone loves that front headlight design.
And also the 2017 one, the number plate attached to the mud guard, not the tail, giving it a cleaner look on the tail.
That’s my preference.

I wish they'd updated my xsr900 for 2024 too. But its almost all the same features. I love it. That engine is a beast

I can’t decide between this one or a Tracer 9, I wanna travel but also ride in cities and feel like I would have the most fun with an MT-09. Maybe just get a comfy seat and windscreen

The cam chain tensioner is ticking. Nothing wrong with it. But it's a noisy engine af. My mates clutch broke down at 30000km. Throttle out of sync. Rear shock can't take a passenger. Turns into a pogo stick. But it's a fun bike. Shame the CP2 is miles better in reliability.

Wife said three wheels is the limit. So instead of a used Yamaha super Tenere for $9800, I’m going to get a can am spyder RT limited for $25, 000. 😂😂😂😂

i like the bike but i wonder even if the SP would be appropriate for agressive riding... cause of the suspension and stability at 50/120 mph @?

To be honest after seeing the 2017-2020 version i prefer the gen 2 model better, it kinda gives it the MT 10 looks

Hello Kirk, I have been wanting to upgrade to the MT09 from my MT07. However, Ive heard about the MT09 been a raw power machine that will wheelie and possibly loop without any notice. I do not want to do wheelies and stuff, but maybe a nice pull here and there. Any thoughts on this? Does the bike really lift up by itself? Thanks!

Beautiful bike. Wish I can get one. Right meow I'm broke, but in a couple of years I probably can get one. I'm just going to admire me with theirs and enjoy what I got right meow. First oof i got to replace my rear tire on my cb500f than I can ride again.
