Can't Copy ISO to USB? The Most Common Reason You Can't Copy that ISO to your USB Stick

The question: "I downloaded a ISO file that is 4.02Gb and I tried to cut/paste it onto a 8.0Gb thumbdrive and it’s telling me that the source file, 4.02Gb, is too large. Can you explain this..."

Indeed, I can. Or I can at least make an educated guess based on that. It's probably the most common reason some large files can't be copied to some USB sticks. AND it's easy to fix.

Fantastic video-- short, sweet, and to the point! at least i didn't have to spend hours tearing my hair out trying to figure out why a <5gb file wouldn't fit on a 64gb usb drive!

Sir, while creating a Windows 10 BOOTABLE USB Stick(gpt format) by ''Windows Media Creation tool'' my Kingston 16gb USB Stick(gpt formatted), became WRITE-PROTECTED.... I tried DISKPART commands, Registry Editor, EasyUS Software etc etc, nothing worked.... Is there any solution...?

Very helpful. Thank you! I have a bit of a deeper question. I have an old Acronis True Image 2010 bootable CD and created an ISO. I tried using Rufus to create a bootable USB and it says the ISO is not compatible. I can't seem to get this ISO onto a bootable USB. Any suggestions?
