Two-Handed Surgical Knot Tying

The two handed tie is arguably harder to learn, and not as fast as the one-handed tie. It does have some advantages, which makes it worth learning, especially since you might get asked to perform it in the OR. I was taught this technique for two-handed tying by a pediatric surgeon, and I never forgot since. Let me know if this was helpful!

Thanks for watching!

So you don't have to alternate between backhand and forehand throws with this method?

How to make the first knot tight? Thanks!

Ok. This looks easier than the surgeon's knot where you have to flip the string on your middle finger. That always confuses me
