Robert MacCready (from Fallout 4) mention that he lives right next to Vault 87 when he little. I wonder how he'll react about the origin of the "Super Mutant" comes from?

I never got them being called Centaurs in 3 and New Vegas. I understand Bethesda wanted to use them in their games, and Obsidian was just using leftovers basically, but they aren't Centaurs. There's no animal DNA in those things.

ah yes, because there is nothing essential and crucial to Super Mutant lore that would suggest another result than vault dwellers without any exposure to Radiation at all, a...let's call them a Prime Normal for the lack of in lore term for this kinda person, turn into something else than stupid Super Mutants with the exception to one single person. Yeah no, Toddy wanted the IP because he truly deeply cared about Fallout, and as game director ensured, thanks to his mere limitless knowledge surrounding one of his favorite franchises ever, that there is absolutely no glaring issues with this game which makes any and all logic of every single small quest in the game fall flat once you think about it for more than 2 seconds. that would NEVER happen. (this whole post is sarcasm, absolutely F bethesda)
