I fully thought that he was just going to end the “viral hack” with eating it normally. And yeah. That’s pretty viral. And at this point leaving your food alone and just eating it like a normal person might be a hack nowadays lol

⚠️ Just always make sure the cup is microwave safe because some cups aren't and can cause fires ⚠️

I love this ramen hack because its basically a simplified version of Korean steamed eggs, the process is pretty much the same except its usually made on the stove in a stone pot.

And I'm out here just drinking the broth straight up

I just add leftover rice to my broth and heat it up. It works with egg too.

Emphasis on the stirring because if you don't, expect it to explode and give you burns bad enough to send you to the hospital.

If you're looking for times, they're doing 700w for 2 minutes. If your wattage is higher, use the power function to lower the power from whatever your microwave is down to around that. Works great!

I tried this too.

I must remind that microwaving water (eg broth) actually causes intense bubbling and random bursts that may cause spillage onto the oven's ceiling. So it is best to use some microwave safe shrink wrap to cover it up if you want to try too.

Most of the “add hot water and wait” noodle cups I’ve had specifically say not to microwave in them, so be careful! I can’t say I’ve had this particular one though.

I put the egg in with the actual noodles then microwave and stir it up so it has pieces of egg in it. Sometimes I'll put a handful of frozen peas and corn or other veggies in it and it's awesome.

I made Cantonese steamed eggs pretty much this way. I am under the impression that every Asian country has a steamed egg recipe or 12, so it's a bit surprising that this hasn't been widespread before.

I usually add an egg to my ramen. Makes it heartier, creamier, and more filling!

I use Ramen seasoning as my secret ingredient for scrambled eggs

Instead of fluffy eggs, I make steamed eggs. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and put heat on low with lid until it’s a solid. If you do it right, you got a silky smooth egg dish that you don’t even need to chew. You can gently push it to the top of your mouth and that’s enough to break apart a spoonful.

Remember: low and slow, though it’s only around 5-10 minutes really
