Hope you enjoy today's episode on the Hardcore Minecraft world!! What do you think of the new plans for this city? I'm so excited to work on the harbor!! Anything I should add?

Now that auto-crafters are out, you should really consider making a trap door factory. The number of spruce trap doors you go through is mind boggling. Lol

I completely agree with you on the lightmatica Mod.
The fact that it does change nothing from the creative effort, nor change the amount of Blocks you had to farm makes it completely fone for me to use. It just safes a lot of time in helping you to bring the previously worked on idea in the world.
Go for it. Use it! :)

One thing that I think would really compliment this world would be to make a giant farmers market somewhere in the city, with all the farms you plant each episode it makes sense for a farmers market to be going on. You could even have a small part in new papyrus selling crops that can’t grow in the desert!

Lightmatica definitely seems like a great mod! The biggest turn off I have from bigger projects is that the planning means I have to do the whole project twice, but even more slowly the second time since I don’t have a second monitor for screenshots lol.

Plus if it works for you, I think that’s all that matters.

I wish my city planners put this much effort into making the city work.. we’d definitely have a lot less traffic 😂 looks great fWhip

I like the tuff better outside the city -- dulling the gates compared to the diorite on the main city walls helps communicate the different areas, I think.

I absolutely adore the world you're building with all the lore and little details, even though I never comment and only sometimes use my member message on streams. Thank you for sharing your creativity process with all of us! I've learned a ton about Minecraft, and specifically building, watching you bring this world to life.

Let the university dwarf the tree from this angle! It’s all about perspective and coming in to the city you’ll want that university to be a massive drawing point. Once you get into the city you’ll see that the tree is the true focal point and it’ll be a really cool effect.

7:54 Maybe the dwarven entrance idea in the cliff could be a hidden smuggler's tunnel as a way to get resources past the city wall and dock security as a way to bybass taxes and solidify the city wall and the barracks lore.

I think it would be cool to add a slums on the land right across from the harbor like they couldn’t afford to live in the actual city so they settled across from it

So sorry you've been getting hate for using litematica. I agree with you for why it's great. I'm sorry the angry minority have been so vocal. The people that think it's fine and awesome even don't feel the need to tell you, cause you doing what you love and need is more than acceptable, it's a normal part of life. A good way to think about it might be for every one person that isn't okay with it, there are 10+ people that find it great and wonderful even.

I said it during the stream and ill say it again, i looove the copper banners on the bridge and gate!!! 😍

Also at 30:30 i think i would change it for tuff. The gate bridge is alot smaller than the city walls so the diorite stands out alot more.

Maybe do a sewage system under the city starting at the harbor. You could build the skeleton a home in there too as a little surprise.

Follow the mud brick road Fwhip! Your destiny lies down it!
Also I think that you should do the tuff outside the city itself, makes it look a little bit grungyer

Since we’ve seen so many fields now it’d be cool to see a field that his half living and half dead near some ruins or on the fade between rich land and desert on the way to new papyrus

Ooo the dwarven undrrground entrance being in the harvor district makes so much sense tho! Itd be great to get the resources that arrive in the harbor directly to the dwarven district that way

Personally, my hope is that you contrinue this project past your plans, maybe after you finish what you've been working on, you slowly begin wrapping the city around the giant magical tree, so it sits in the center of your megopolis. Perhaps an elven district on the outskirts that have treehouses amongst a scattering of normal buildings (either shop fronts or where the normal humans would live), an artisan district, and a training grounds for the city's militia?

4:31 Fwhip, maybe instead of removing this entire piece, you could create a bypass for ships that are just passing by and not docking to prevent a clog from happening in the port!

I'm really excited to see the neighbourhood you're planning! One idea I have is to make the houses closest to the world tree more extravagant, as living under the protection of the magical tree would be a major selling point.

For the stony beach out by the mud brick castle you could put in a small hamlet-style village, meaning just a couple of houses and basic facilities like a small smithy or something, and add in a small fishing dock to both sides of the river, or more like a ferry dock, and the Hamlet would be the castles support village, giving the castle food and labor in extange for protection, like how it worked irl.
