Sorry for the lack of videos guys but I've been working on some awesome builds for the new upcoming series and have so many new build tutorials on the way, including a new church and castle which are one of my favourite builds I've ever done and can't wait to show you all what I've been working on. What video do you want to see next ? =)

4:20 Now, you don't want just a bunch of town houses. You want to add some theme. Plan some highstreet or shops.

Personally, I prefer to use Coarse dirt and path blocks for paths rather than stone. It’s more colourful and I like to only use stone in certain areas to show wealth.

These videos always make me feel like: yeah I can do this.
But it's actually very hard to create such a complete feeling to your builds. So props to this guy 😊

Something I do in my cities is make a to-do list with all the types of buildings I want to make. It helps me both with world building and stylistic choices. Plus, it’s so nice to check off boxes when you finally finish something! I also like to leave detailing until last because it’s my favorite part (like adding highlights to drawings). I really like seeing everything come together at the end.

Blue, this is exactly what I needed, thank you. I'd love a few tips on things like spacings for roading, rough dimensions for various house types or shop types, so when I'm marking out builds I can think "hey I could put a park here, a church there...IDK, just ideas for the kinds of things you do - this video was really cool and got my thoughts kicked up a notch :)

The way you are able to blend the buildings up a curved path at alternating heights is insane to me. Building at different elevations and making it flow is such a struggle for me, but you make it look so effortless. Love your videos 👍

Amazing talent. The use of leaves is great. Most people just spam leaves in weird spots that don't make sense but I love how you incorporate them

Hey blue! One thing I struggle the most with is trees and incorporating it into my cities. Could u do a tutorial on how u go about building ur trees and ur thought process when building them into ur cities?

For most towns, think in terms of wealth as well. Important buildings (banks, castles, churches, etc) are going to be bigger/more protected/slightly separated) in terms of footprint AND in terms of nearby houses. The wealthy pay for comfort and convenience

Edit: this goes for roads too. Wealthier places have nicer roads (stone for example) while poorer places have worse roads (like dirt/mud)

Awesome video Blue <3 By learning how to make curvy paths, adding those small gardens or clumps of trees, different color buildings, different elevations, I've learned how to add life to my builds. Yo

1) Make a new custom tree tutorial :)))
2) How do you keep inspiration flowing? I find every time I start a new Minecraft world I get all the early game stuff and some into the late game and I start plans for mega builds I NEVER END UP FINISHING THE MEGA BUILDS. I swear I’ve started like 10 worlds and had this same thing happen every time!

Even though I can't stand the diagonal slanted builds in large numbers, you're one of the biggest inspirations for my Minecraft world's expanded builds.
