Tip for superflat cities: if you can, try and find a pre 1.18 flat world file, that way the ground is at 0 instead of -60

Me and some friends made server about 2 years ago. It is on "normal" type. It firstly was Survival mode, but owner of server (Tostertost), changed it to Creative. We build this city till today. We flatten it ("Wypłaszczamy", in Polish, obviously!) with Worldedit.

tip for java players:

If you pick normal world, make sure to make it single biome only! It's like a normal world but one biome. Want a winter city pick snowy taiga, want a normal city, pick plains, want a beachy city, pick beach

I recently made a Port town on Minecraft. And I put History in to it, and my town was founded in 1765 and I recently expanded it. and I added Stone brick sidewalks cobble Streets and gas lights, brick building and now my town is in 1899 and it's almost like a small City, but now I'm going to expand it into a bigger city.

This genuinely really helpful! I still want to make my door factory next to my neighborhood just for laughs though. Maybe everyone in that neighborhood would work there?

Tip: If you have CurseForge, you can make it look even more realistic with mods such as FramedBlocks and Paladin's Furnite. If you want to, you can even use real logos without maps with the Immersive Paintings mod. Chipped and Rechiseled also provided block varities to texture your house with the right color, and for Industry Areas, you should use my favorite mod, the Create Mod.

When creating a superflat world in Java, you can click "customize world", then "use presets", then choose "overworld" your superflat world will be 64 blocks deep

Another tip/my hometown slander

When adding construction zones Add signs ahead of the zone to a place where cars could reasonably see them even if your road isn't used much

4:04 I agree nobody wants to live next to factories or places like that but if you want the true American spirit sometimes a highway or two doesn't hurt and adds a touch of realism if you feel me

Ive been working on a minecraft town ever since i got bedrock edition back in 2019. Its not a modern or realistic town and goes for its own style. Not every building is amazing looking and the pathway isn't even an actual road but i love the town. It has its own history and uniqueness and im going to continue to organize and grow the town :)) i think you're really talented and you inspire me to keep doing my own thing :)

There is another tip on building a city in minecraft as well, that is how to get around?
Cars or Trains (Subway)?
I chose mine with a Railway, don't get me wrong, there are still roads, but the primary way to get around is by Subway

As someone who is currently building a minecraft city (For 3 Years Now), This video is soo relatable.
when i started my city, i started debating with myself whether i use normal, superflat or a mod that generates realistic terrain, eventually i settled on superflat (which was my biggest mistake, i already made this mistake with a previous city being 3 blocks deep LOL), for now im experimenting on things like changing the generator of my world from superflat to normal (though im not sure if it will corrupt my world) or using world painter (And might corrupt my world as well).
For scaling, that was one of the main problems i had as well, but not in terms of interiors, its the scaling of my islands, or building heights because i cant fully view my build on a low render distance before, leading me to believe its bigger than it actually is but i fixed them by adding height and width. i also prefer the 5 block roads but prefer 4 sometimes on a tight area. And lastly, the monument LOL, i remember having to move the statue of liberty style island sooo many times just because it was closer before to the actual city

Nice tips. I will definitely use these in my city to make them even better.
I don't want to cause any beef but which city is better, yours or mine?
