Dr. J.
I have so many problems including liver heart and stomach disease. I do not have h. pylori but i have had chronic gastritis for over 20 years from stress and all sorts of other problems. last scope i had showed pan gastritis, low grade esophagitis and a couple small ulcers. I bought some l-histidine but if it stimulates acid production is it not safe for gastritis if not auto immune? i have tried betaine hydrochloride and it also irritates my stomach. in fact my stomach is very sick and most things irritate my stomach cause i have way too much bacteria in my gut due to severe low motility or the lining is weak. My liver and gallbladder are diseased and i think thats why the stomach is so bad as i have had liver disease since i started to have gastritis. I just dont want to make the ulcers worse cause i perforated one in 2003 and almost died from sepsis. That is why everything has been inflammed and diseased for so long. Any advice would be appreciated and im aware doctors dont like to give advice online that could harm someone on accident. I am just not sure where to turn to treat this as i dont think i have too much acid as i dont ever get heartburn at all anymore so i probably have too little or bile reflux. Slippery elm, mastic, aloe vera juice i tried so many things i have no idea what to do. Any advice appreciated. Would pantoprazole be ok to take with histidine or i know it counteracts acid so its opposite.

I can't make out what the immune protocol is that he mentioned... Did he say to use ascorbic acid vitamin c. And l-, histadine 30 mins before food? How much of each? I wish there was a transcript of this. I've emailed this email provided and i never got a reply last year. Can someone please help?

Wow, I have gastritis and I have never heard of this version in all our communities. This form the body is attacking itself? And Vitamin-B12 and L-Histidine helps in this?

How does one know if they have this version of Gastritis (atrophic) vs a traditional form, from H. Pylori and other factors?
