I was a Protestant for 37 years, or my entire life. I recently was called to the Catholic Church in a time of trials in my life. I apologize for my Protestant brothers. They largely sit in uneducated churches and have no educational background in religion. However, they talk about complex religious issues a lot. I know how they think and I apologize for it, I’m lucky I made it out.

I grew up in the Roman Catholic rite and now I belong to the Byzantine Catholic rite. I can firmly say we venerate Mary because Christ did so and we follow his example. Slava Isusu Christu!
