Trump shooter's parents called police, here's why

Hours before Thomas Matthew Crooks tried to kill former President Donald Trump, his family tried to call the cops, federal sources say, which confirms the shooter’s family reported him missing on Saturday before the former president’s rally.

Crooks' parents are cooperating with FBI investigators as the agency tries to specify a motive for the shooting that injured Trump and killed rally attendee Corey Comperatore.

Officials completed a vetting of Crooks' phone and social media accounts, but have yet to publicize the results of that probe.

It simply baffles me why the parents of a 20-year-old man would report him missing after only a few hours unless he was disabled or they were reporting him "missing" as a way to give the police a head's up about him without actually telling them that he was up to no good.

Makes no sense. They saw him that morning. He lives in there house. And they were concerned the kid "went missing"?

Secret service also said, that they saw him at the rally, followed him round, "lost him" in the crowd after about 30

Reporting a 20 year old adult as missing after he's been gone for a few hours in broad daylight makes absolute sense and isn't suspicious whatsoever. Nor is any other thing suspicious about this case.

Why would the parents of a 20 year old man call the police to report him missing? How long had their son been missing? A rifle belonging to the father was missing along with their son. What else are we not being told about this young man as yet? Why were the parents so concerned for their son?
