Witness says he saw gunman before assassination attempt on Donald Trump

Note there is no mention of a police officer confronting the shooter on the roof in this testimony. Where did the associated press come up with the notion that that confrontation happened?

It takes 5 seconds to scope and pull a trigger. The police sniper had a win mag with an Israeli one shot one kill scope. It calibrates the target and predicts the area to aim by calculating windage. This scope is a sniper for dummies book. Takes the skill out of the shot. This whole event looks terribly fishy! Crooks was spotted climbing on the building 26 minutes prior to his shots... I'm getting a creepy grassy knoll vibe here.

This is an AMAZING testimony because is shows that the shooter was in prone position when the person next to him saw him. He then turned to look and HE saw him in prone position. He then saw him go into laying down position, take aim and fire. That entire sequence probably took 3-5 seconds, perhaps more. Three seconds for counter-snipers is an ETERNITY, and they didn't fire. No, they waited another 15 seconds before firing. Imagine someone is aiming a gun at you and you have a more powerful gun aimed at them. You are a professional sniper, you served in the military, you can take out the enemy in a split seconds. Now, count slowly to 15 and imagine they are firing at you and you don't fire back.

This guy said he is standing by the fence... on the ground... much lower than the south barn... yet he seemed to have a very clear view of the shooter and his buddy saw the shooter pointing a rifle at Trump before he started shooting... from the ground... much lower than the snipers on the south barn. He then said that he then turned and saw the shooter in the prone position with a gun (rifle). He said that he THEN laid down, took aim and started shooting. This means that the south barn sniper saw all of this in his scope and still didn't shoot. There IS NO good explanation for that. These things are planned to the T. Everyone knows where everyone else is going to be and the SECOND a pimply faced 20 year old is spotted on a roof, the snipers would know IMMEDIATELY that he doesn't belong and take him out. Why isn't Congress questioning the snipers?
