I see some people in the comments saying that if Conquest was kept alive long enough for Nolan to become the new emperor of the Viltrum Empire, he would have a chance to redeem himself like the others did, but personally, I think Conquest would never accept that. Conquest is the one viltrumite in the show that didn't bullshit Mark in any way. He doesn't care about the Viltrum Empire's revival, he just cares about his desire for battle and blood, and the Empire has been providing him with that for that long. Conquest knows just how evil he truly is, and even the other viltrumites are afraid of him, so I don't think he would ever give peace a chance.

One thing I love about Conquest is he's the perfect anti-thesis to Mark more so than his alternate Marks or other villains. Thragg constantly sent Conquest out bc he was Thragg's closest home threat. Like what happened to Argall. And bc of loyalty, he did so many war crimes he became a flying Canada without the apologies. or Geneva Convetions.

But Mark had Debbie, Amber and Eve, Oliver, and to an extent his dad. He got to emotionally mature, like Anissa, like Lucan, like Nolan(after a while.) Conquest never had that chance for emotional maturity, and even if he did, he shoved that down centuries ago.
