The thing about superman's character is he is so ridiculously overpowered almost nothing can face him head on.

To all of those saying batman... Notice how I said HEAD ON! batman always pulls some bullshit to go toe to toe with supes. Kingdom come superman yeeted him into the bat mobile and nearly killed him. Only other meta humans or magical beings were able to face superman blow for blow where as batman had to exploit his weakness to even face him.
