If you are dealing with medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow), we have a great series of videos coming your way!

First, understand that you don't have to be a golfer to develop "golfer's elbow." In fact, almost any sport or recreational activity that requires high degrees of force production at fast speeds can play a role. It's possible to develop medial epicondylitis from tennis, golf, throwing sports, occupational activities, etc.

What is critical to understand is that when dealing with elbow issues, it is almost NEVER only about the elbow. In fact, multiple research studies have demonstrated that mobility issues throughout the kinetic chain need to be addressed to reduce stress on the elbow.

So, in today's video we're going to show you a fast, targeted method for improving spinal mobility that is essential in elbow pain rehabilitation. Allowing the torso and shoulders unrestricted movement can make a massive difference in elbow stress, with the added benefit of improving performance.

In this video, we'll look at which areas of the spine to target and one of my favorite methods for improving it quickly and efficiently.

Video Highlights:
-- How to deal Golfer's Elbow or Medial Epicondylitis
-- Factors in Improving Golfer's Elbow
-- Thoracic Mobility Exercises

It makes a lot of sense. I play squash and my tendinitis is probably because using too much of my arm instead of rotating. Thanks!

Thanks for the video! Does the injured/irritated elbow usually correspond to limitation in the same side of thoracic rotation? (i.e. right elbow epicondylitis, right T-rotation limitation, or do you ever experience patients with right elbow, left t-rotation limitation)

Thanks for the videos! I've got medial epicondylitis which I've been battling to sort out for 3 years (I'm a sports massage therapist). I noticed you mentioned contralateral thoracic rotation and contralateral hip internal rotation as potential drivers. Can the same be true ipsilaterally with both the hip and thoracic?

Any tips for keeping the rotation in the thoracic and not coming mostly from the mid-low back?!

Also, the strap doesn’t stretch…correct? Could you do this with a band that stretches? Thank you!!

With the isometric are you also turning with your hips or are you aiming to keep your hips still and only turning with the thoracic area?
