Jacaranda Bonsai care

In this video we explain the Bonsai care for the Jacaranda mimosifolia. The Blue Jacaranda Bonsai is a subtropical tree native to south-central South America that is very popular as an ornamental tree because of its beautiful and long-lasting blue flowers. It has pretty compound leaves.

I live in zone 6 and i grew five jacarandas from seed back in January. They were out on my front porch during the summer I brought them in. I found aphids that I had to kill and I think the aphids are all gone, but my leaves turn brown fall off and I don’t know why.

During the 1970s I lived in Rhodesia in the neighbourhood of Salisbury known as "the avenues". The street adjacent to mine was lined with magnificently beautiful jacaranda trees and it was there I discovered that I had an awful allergy to the damned things when in flower. My nasal passage swelled up like balloons and I couldn't breathe at all.
