Remember, this is ONLY FOR INDOOR BONSAI. For outdoor trees, there are specific times when you should prune them, ect. Also, pruning bonsai goes deeper than just pruning it into a ball shape. As a final note, I would like to add that I don't think the bonsai at the end of the video is the same one from the beginning.

Bonsai isn’t a specific tree any tree can be bonsai and there’s many different styles that you can make it into not just a formal upright broom style tree it’s nice to have it as decoration but it’s best if you have any bonsai outside and in more granular soil to prevent root rot bonsai is an art form of making trees miniature and it’s more of a hobby than decoration if you leave a bonsai tree alone and not work on it you’ll just have a tree that looks like a bush

You shouldn't cut any branches if you plant is weak, dont water the soil heavily if your substrate holds a lot of water! Also styling is for your liking, it shouldn't be a ball just cuz a video said so

I find repotting certain species helps speed up growth. Gives the roots a wee boost.

this is a ginseng ficus, basically only ficus bonsai can be kept inside and cared for like this

not every bonsai behaves the same, this is a ficus, very easy to be taken care of.... can be pruned almost all year long, not like other species of trees. if you want to grow bonsai trees, please look into it in more depth to avoid disappointment

This not specifically a bonsai according to bonsai community. It a grafted plant the down part the trunk which actually old swollen root is a ficus Retusa and the canopy is ficus panda or tiger bark ficus.

That is the point of having a bonsai tree. Keep it small and i think if you do that your tree will start growing like regular tree

The misting is a bit of a myth, its the tree has good roots then it gets vast majority of it's water from the roots, misting it will do nothing other than give your house damp issues
