Seeing Sebulba’s Pod Crash is one of the coolest things ever.

The visual effects are incredible but the sound effects are immensely satisfying to the ears

has anyone else noticed that between 1:33 and 1:38 when anakin's friends are celebrating the human kid tries to give atleast 2 different high fives to Walt (Anakin's Rodian friend) only to have him being rejected. A second watch of that moment you clearly see that W. Walt tricks the human boy into thinking he was getting an high five. To this day the boy still has nightmares with the high five

While Phantom Menace was the weakest of the saga (actually both Episodes I and II were the weakest of the saga), I still found the podrace quite enjoyable. And in this scene where Anakin is desperately trying to accelerate his pod to catch up with Sebulba, John Williams' score gives you an actual sense of peril.
