Podrace Second Lap Extended Cut (Restored Deleted Scenes) [4K HDR] - Star Wars: The Phantom Menace

One of the goals of the Phantom Menace Extended Edition Supercut is to create the most complete version of the film's Podrace sequence reasonably possible, including not only the extra scenes that were in the 2001 DVD release, but also the extra deleted scenes that were not restored into the cut. I don't necessarily think these scenes add as much to the world building as the Episode II and III deleted scenes do, but over the decades many fans have loved the podrace sequence and racing in Star Wars in general, so I think a more complete version of the race is worth creating just for its own sake. This clip restores all of the remaining unused scenes from the second lap into the cut, showing even more of Sebulba's weapons and defenses.

A 4K HDR sample from my Extended Star Wars Episode I Cut, simply titled "The Phantom Menace - Extended Edition". As of today, both cuts have now been updated to a new 2.0 version, featuring several minor tweaks in audio, updates to the HDR color timing (especially for Episode I), tweaks to transitions, and brand new A.I. upscales of many of the deleted scenes. A total of 7 deleted scenes have been restored in the film.

Both of my Extended Episode I and II cuts are available in both 4K HDR and 1080p SDR, along with my other edits like the 4.5 hour Revenge of the Sith - The Siege of Mandaore Supercut the, Star Wars Episode IV - The Rogue Cut, and many more!

The pod race scene was my all-time favorite scene from Star Wars 1 and makes me think they could have made a TV show where Anakin Skywalker became a Jedi and is still a pod race pilot where he gets an invitation to participate in the galactic pod race championship to race different pilots, master dangerous tracks in different planets, and upgrade his pod racer to handle different terrains.
