Every year I travel home to Sweden from Hawaii and it is a LONG flight. Here are some other tips that I do that might help you.

1) Make a list of everything you need to pack and check off the item when you put it in your bag so you don't forget anything

2) Exercise before your flight

3) Don't eat a big meal before your flight so you can eat on the plane

4) download a lot of movies and games

5) Read (duh)

6) Bring a small blanket and a neck pillow for better sleep

7) Chew gum and daydream

8) Eat something healthy then treat yourself to candy :) so you feel like you deserve that candy

9) Draw or doodle or whatever you like to do

The only thing I'm scared of when I'm flying is how loud the toilet flushes...

Once my grandma was on a long flight and when she got up her legs were HUGE! So she went to the hospital and it turned out she had 27!!! Clots in her legs. Somehow she survived. I’m so happy she is still with us. 😇

Most of the time my family has seats spread throughout the plane. When i get bored I just walk to a different family member on the plane.

I ALWAYS request an aisle seat. After two 16 hour flights in the middle seat, I was like "NEVER AGAIN" LOL. Looking forward to the Thailand vlogs :)

I fly every few weeks and have never thought of wiping the tray and armrests - thanks, great tip!

Neck pillows just don't help. The seats are already pushed forward at the top too far. Those just make it worse.

Window seat only....I don't want someone stepping by me when I'm attempting to sleep. I can usually hold it and i get up the same time as the lady/guy next to me does if I'm feeling considerate.

About twice a year, my family and I would travel from Stuttgart Germany to either NC or FL. It was an over night flight with delta so I have a lot of experience and I can say that these are pro tips!

Tomorrow I'll fly to China and that's my first time traveling alone because I'm only 14. I'm going to visit a friend and I'm freaking scared. It'll be 10 hours from Germany to Beijing

Ear planes are a game changer. I'm someone who's suffered with severe congestion in my ears every time I've flown - even have had a punctured ear drum once from the pressure. The conventions of: chewing, swallowing and yawning don't help for me. I tried the ear planes after watching this video and I have NO issue at all. Nada. I step off the plane and can hear like normal. Its truly amazing. I won't fly without them now. SO, THANK YOU!!

my worst fear is having to poo in an airplane or airport; the last time i traveled for 18 hours my trick was eating VERY little 2 days before and a small breakfast the same day too..

sleeping is ssooo hard on planes, I didn't sleep for both flights too and from South Africa which were 11 hours each. I'm also a very nervous flyer. Great tips btw xxx

I love the tip about wiping down the table tray/seat area with an antibacterial wipe. Such common sense, yet i never thought to do that before! Will remember to pack some for my next flight!

I travel from Europe to USA and here some extra tips:
1) Bring hand sanitizer. The water on the plane is not exactly clean and if you really love that window seat, like I do, you can just sanitize your hands without getting up and bothering people.

2) bring face wipes or spray water to freshen up your dry face

3) Some hair oil will do wonders in getting your hair shaped and get rid of the static.

4) bring an empty water bottle and ask them to fill it up either on the plane or after you've gone through security

5) For the love of god, don't be like me and stay awake for the whole flight. Try to sleep as much as you can as this will make the flight pass by faster and you won't be as tired.

6) always bring a pen

7) once they finish handing out snacks you can usually ask for more as they have plenty left.
