Pastor Doug..can you share your take on Jesus saying, "Let God has joined..let no man put asunder?" I feel that Jesus was implying for a couple to not seek divorce as it's the ideal, but I have been beat over the head with the same, "remarriage is adultery, " argument as well.
I simply try to help people to give them hope because the church for the most part loves to simply grind people into powder, while saying it's out of love...that sounds an awful lot like someone who commits domestic abuse would say! I digress.
I've been divorced against my wishes as well and I had people bashing me like I was scum...when I was the one who was cheated on! Unreal how cruel the church can be.
