Thank you for this video Deirdre! Very informative and easy to digest! All the questions from your viewers are so relevant and I too have the same questions. Appreciate this segment!

The test agency took almost 2 months to deliver result of the test taken on December 25th 2021 until the exact day of the medal ceremony. This is definitely tricky. Let her compete, and sanction the coaches.

I don't believe in her positive test. The Olympic Committee doesn't need such a strong athlete at the Olympic Games. No one can compete with her, therefore her test is "positive", especially since she is from Russia. I am very sorry that the Olympic Committee does such things in relation to the strongest athlete.

Heart meds aren’t going to help her do that triple axel or that quad! I’m an American and fully believe this young girl deserves the gold medal!

What "doping" ???...Kamila Valieva - She is so good that if she stay home and send a photo only, it is enough for gold medal at any Olimpics !!!...

WADA seemed to have no problem with this sample until yesterday. This is from December, and they reported no problems before they suddenly did after she won. I don’t know if I believe this “positive” test that magically appeared just in time to potentially take away Valieva’s and Russia’s medal. This reeks of headhunting to deprive them of a medal.

The timing of the media reports on this are dubious. I suspect some international politics. Any person watching her performance knows she deserves the gold.

DW news’ sports journalist said the medical adviser for her club had been penalized for doping in the past. She belongs to a state-funded, prestigious club that only selected kids can join. It has produced multiple young medalists who often retire at 16/17 y.o. for medical/mental health reasons. The coach has been criticized for extreme training regimes, weight control, little injury care etc. Students of the club are prohibited to talk about their training or what they eat/drink/take.

A child doesn't even know what that drug is and they certainly can't buy it. If she took the drug it was with the consent and knowledge of her coach. Therefore, ban the coach; not the child. Banning the coach means, after the ban, any player that is coached by the banned coach is banned from competing, she and all other skaters would then find other coaches.

Banning the coach would be far more effective than banning one of their many skaters.

ln 2018 a russian Bobsleigh competitor tested positive for the same drug. She was disqualified and banned for 18 months . Why should this skater be treated any different ?? l do agree that due to her age, maybe don't ban her for 18 months, but no way should she be allowed to compete this year!! lt is not fair to every single other skater in the competition.

Doping is illegal. Valieva should be suspended, and ROC should have their team gold taken away.

I feel bad for the other teams caught up in this problem.

Valieva is definitely the best skater in history. Why she should be banned for a test that was done in December? Isn't it strange?

My question is why would you do this and think it wouldn’t be found out?why would you risk this? It’s the Olympics ffs

They are talking about the sample of the test of the Russian figure skater, which was collected *more than month ago, * on December 25, 2021. A month has 30 days or 720 hours 43200 minutes.
👉 *Why did they learn about the results of this test in such a way that this story appeared in the media at the most favorable moment for anti-Russian propaganda?* Not a minute earlier, not a minute later! The procedure for awarding figure skaters is at its peak! Everyone is on the podium, literally in a few seconds medals will appear. The TV program has the highest viewer ratings ... and just at this exact moment ... just coincidentally *_(do you believe in such "coincidences"?)_* ... the world suddenly found out about the results of a test that was made more than a month ago.
👉 *Out of more than 43, 200 minutes, why exactly at this particular minute did they start spinning this story?*

*Coincident #2.* According to the ITA (International Testing Agency, a third-party group that manages the IOC's anti-doping programs) statement, the sample was collected by the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) on Dec. 25, 2021, during Russian Figure Skating Championships in St. Petersburg, where Valieva won gold. The positive sample was returned by a WADA-accredited lab in Sweden on Feb. 8 - *A DAY AFTER(!!!)* Valieva and her teammates won gold in the Olympic team event.

🔶 Everyone remembers the story that the Western media spread to the whole world about the alleged use of doping by Russian athletes at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in 2014. *However, it is likely that 95% of people in the world do not know and will never know about the following fact.* On February 1, 2018, in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced its decision on cases in which 39 Russian athletes appealed their suspension related to the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in 2014. The court's decision is as follows:
- for 28 athletes - there are no evidences, ALL penalties have been cancelled;
- for 11 athletes - the appeals were partially satisfied, the violations were confirmed;
- for 3 athletes hearings have been postponed.

👉 *That is, in 72% of cases (28 out of 39) considered by the court, THE DOPING CHARGES WERE FABRICATED (!!!) and no one was punished for this!*
How long will a person work as a doctor who misdiagnoses 72% of the time? _- You know the answer._
How long will a person work as a truck driver who 72% of the time passes an intersection on a red traffic light? _You know the answer._
*How long will work a person engaged in the spread of anti-Russian hysteria and who brazenly lies in 72% of cases? - Endlessly!*

Why was she the only one of her team that came out positive?

Sorry but calling Eteri’s style as abusive is just wrong. Russian school of figure skating, ballet, gymnastics has always been very strict. But blatantly accusing her of violence is really silly… yes many girls have left and many have come back. In fact no one holds them down at the rink, the doors are alway open is just like anywhere else you can leave at any moment

as a Canadian figure skater myself, i LOVE the roc figure skaters i was so excited to watch all them in the olympics. I look up to them so much and watching them even helps me skate. I’m so disappointed in this because I was so excited to be able to watch my favourites as a dream i had to watch them in person some day. I’m so disappointed…i hope i still get to see them skate :(

We'll find out everything soon, but it sure sounds like not only the Russian skating team cheated but the Russian anti-doping agency also cheated. If that's the case how can you work with Russian athletes at all now if the Russian agency that is in charge of testing their athletes is also corrupt?
