⛸ Anna Shcherbakova wins Women's Gold! | Figure Skating Beijing 2022 | Free Skate highlights

ROC skater Anna Shcherbakova became Olympic champion after her free skate saw her score a massive personal best of 175.75, in a total of 255.95.

I just want to say that Anna broke her skates three days before the women’s single skating, so she had to change them for new unworn ones. If someone doesn’t know, skates are the heart of every skater. So I don‘t understand how she landed two clean quads and skated the whole programme perfectly. Congrats Anna WOW

Instagram made me think she didn't deserve her gold medal! But i watched hers and Sasha's performance and realised how well-deserved her gold medal actually was. Sasha was great, amazing, beautiful and everything but this is figure skating not figure jumping. Anna's performance is more elegant and artistic. Loved it

Anna's performance may not include tons of quad jumps but beauty, artistry, and athleticism were there! Her jumps were flawless and elegant. I'm sorry but Anna truly deserved her win. I just wish she could celebrate it more when she was there.

The Russian skaters, much like the Russian gymnasts are naturally so artistic. Alina, Evgenia and now Anna and Kamila, all 4 are fairies on ice. They really know how to perform and capture the audience. I just can't help but love their elegant hand choreography.
