There is a myth that Polyester and Nylon cords can not be welded together, is the true? In this video I show how to cut and burn cord ends but also how to weld two cords together even if they are polyester and nylon.

Great video and rather timely. Had this conversation today and said you can’t really do it but hadn’t seen your video yet. I’ll try it for sure next time the need arises. I like the Manny method and also don’t like it: time consuming, not all cords are easy to get a fid through, hard ones hurt my hands, and I’ve broken a nail and pulled it away from the skin of my thumb 😩. Thanks for another great tutorial.
