I went from 155 lbs to 375 lbs over the last 18 months. Not quite 300 in a year, but not too far off. Amazing what working from home, food delivery, and nonstop stress eating can do to a man!

If quarantine would have continued for another year I would have probably gained 150 pounds.
I already gained 87 pounds in half a year bc I found out that milka was gluten free and my mom still hasn't figured out how to say no 😂

I’ve gained about 40-50 pounds in the last year, and it’s been rough, my mental state has been effected, my motivation to do anything has gone away, and it’s caused a lot of issues in my life, I’m tired all the time, I get short of breath easily, it’s so frustrating and up until recently I’ve done nothing to change it, but now I’m working out and trying to live a better lifestyle

I'm diabetic and my doctor prescribed Metformin. One of the side effects was it made me gain weight. I was gaining a pound every other day. So if I had kept taking it I would have gained 365 pounds in just two years. Since I weigh a little under 200 pounds, in just two years I would have weighed over 500 pounds! I only took it for a few weeks.

Fat also makes the body more resistant to insulin. This can increase your risk of Type 2 diabetes. The larger your body is, the higher your blood pressure will be, since your heart needs to pump harder to circulate blood. This also increases the risk of stroke.

Weight gain is different for everyone. The only successful way to put on 300 lbs would be to take a page from Violet Beareguarde's bio and try Wonka's three course meal, which in turn, turned the poor girl into a massively ripe blueberry. I've got a friend who has had difficulty loosing weight, and his problem was the weight that he put on condensed because of his body type. What I often wonder is I see the flipside to the coin often, people who are either don't weigh enough, or have anerexic like bodies. Young girls especially seem to be picky in what they eat, yet if you can figure out what healthy looks like for you, with your weight, that's the best place to be because whoever coined the term weight loss obviously threw the word - maintain out of their vocabulary. Better to maintain than go on a diet and loose the pounds you actually need.
