Being serious now that principal is just another asshole in the thousands or power hungry assholes we let run our schools. The parent is doing what’s right and making it clear that the two kids are friends and making sure the principal knows they done fucked up.

Schools don't do jack against actual bullying and often times punish the innocent party for defending themselves; one time i fought my bully and we both got a weeks Detention because "we don't want to promote an aura of violence at our school"

My dad did the same thing. 2 months later I was "a threat to the wellbeing of the class" and was basically forced to go to another school. The same principal who thought he could fix my ADHD (his words to my parents) by putting walls up around my seat, so I could only see the teacher, not even the whiteboard

Abby when to the principal and it did not make the difference so he went to the board. Principal of School was mad at his own decision i guess.

No, that principal needed a kick in the ass and a reality check. Never let power tripping assholes get off easy. If the principal is screwing up, of course you'll go above him to the district office. If a cashier screws up, guess what you do, talk to their manager. It's the same thing here

I didn’t even know bullying charges were a thing. I got charged with self defense at school bc teachers jumped me.

Not the AH. But you need to talk to your daughter and let her know that certain words are harmful and not nice.

She swore in school inwouldnt have removed the mark i would have told the parents that your child is not above anyone else you break the rules you get the punishment. You swore and got caught in my school you got detention.
