This speech by Les Brown emphasizes on having the respect and faith in oneself to cultivate the courage to commit to the endeavours even when no one is by your side and neutralizing the negative influences in one's life.

We need to stand up for ourselves and rather than just taking things that come along the way with a hopeless demeanor , we should confront our problems head on and fight for what is ours.
In his book 'As a Man Thinketh', James Allen beautifully compares the mind to a garden which when not tended to results into detrimental weeds.
To grow beautiful flowers in a garden, it needs to be properly taken care of and regularly exposed to weed control techniques.
Similarly, We need to tend to our minds by carefully analyzing the negative influences which restrain us in making the necessary growth in our lives and weeding them out of our lives to have a productive life.

I, for the first time in my 24 years of life, just told my friends my boundaries, they responded negatively, twisting the fact that they had just made fun of me on my expense around into guilting me into apologizing.

I finally decided to stop taking it, told them off, and cut off all communication.

It feels lonely, but I know I did the only right thing.

Oh my GOD! This is my philosophy! Finally the truth is spoken through this man. Courage is moving forward in your convictions even though it goes against popular consensus. How brave can you be? Live your life with belief that you are worthy of love and respect but it doesnt come passively, it comes through earning it. Use your instincts and be brave. Be bold. Be daring. Over time you will have true power of authenticity.
What is real and what is false? Real-ness is a life built on genuine happiness not the illusion of happiness. Real truth is unbreakable. Live your authentic life.

im keep getting bullied at my school but this is inspring to fight for myself and I train kickboxing for over 2 years

I'm living in a country with an oppressive government, and millions who put their blind faith in that government. And all my life I've felt like I'm surrounded by and being suffocated by those millions. Today, something happened that I can no longer ignore and keep quiet about. There's going be a protest in a few hours and I need these thoughts above desperately to be able to stand up against these leaders and their millions of followers.
