The REAL reason China wants to take Taiwan is this PEN. Do you know that it was only until 2017 that China was able to manufacture the tip of this ball point pen?

Why did it take them so long? And what does this pen have to do with Taiwan? I will explain everything this video.

Thank you. This and part 1 is the best news video I've seen all year. It's amazing China's tendency, desire and policy of copying and stealing everything, especially tech.

Yes, but Taiwan is quite impossible to invade militarily, so the only option that would work is a blockade or a peaceful solution.

Same did Japan also same did South Korea... We should give a chance to China to take over those matters

Just remember that TSMC produce the ICs however they are typically designed elsewhere. That is why TSMC are setting up shop in other countries. So the critical IP is not in Taiwan.

Thank you for your time, sir. Im in china right now on a business trip. I asked them if they could accept bitcoin for payment and they said YES. Even with the current laws

That’s also why Taiwan means so much for the US. The US can attract the companies to move to them though. Also, unlike China, the US have the know-how and that special sand needed for producing the chips, I just learned.

Who the hell builds technical knowledge from scratch? We're all standing on the achievements of others.

I think even for US it will take a loong time to reach the tech level of TSMC. This is another reason why China wants TSMC.

I'm pretty sure it will take way less time, China has been doing high end products themselves like high speed trains etc.

They did not had the amount of engineers they have now, they have been learning from USA universities non-stop

This is also why TSMC is building 12 billion dollar a foundry in Arizona USA which will be ready soon. They have been training US workers in Taiwan as well to bring them up to speed

yes, because it is cheaper and easier to copy than R&D a thing that is already exist. just like why and how Microsoft steal DOS.

It matters to China, what's really interesting is how the US finds themselves AS interested in Taiwan as China is 🤔 turns out everyone wants chips.

People's Republic of China and Republic of China (Taiwan) are still at war after 1949. Current ROC (TW) government has been working furiously on removing social elements associated with China which sparked the current conflict. What is TSMC got to do with it?

They will blow up the chip centers if they invade. Also...all the silicone sand they use is here in the U.S.

It is possible that at the beggining you may copy but then you developed your one human capital and you start creating new tech. I think that may be happining in china. So the example of pen is not very much appliable. However, indeed is huge challenge, and more than the chips are the ASML lithography machine.
