I wanted to do a video on the TOP FIVE things to never with a SHARK in a kayak. Kayaking and Kayak Fishing can be a lot of fun if you are safe and know what you are doing. Sharks are big aggressive creatures that can be dangerous. Here are the things not to do while kayak fishing around sharks.

Hey bro, I want to thank you for the time you have taken with all your safety videos. You are truly a special guy, who cares about other kayakers, especially new like myself. I am like you, believe in all safety first. Radio, best PFD, and all other equipt. Things can go wrong very quick.and happen in a second. I am up in the northeast. Just bought my pelican kayak catch 120. Going to spend all winter making her my own, and going to put the Suzuki 2.5 4 stroke outboard on her. great video again, most points may sound like common sense, but when the time comes, you may forget stuff like this in the heat of the moment and have a bad time if you were not reminded of this =)

Thanks again. Very informative. My fishing days are over. But I love your channel. If your shark fishing ask about an old timer name Captain Elmo. He used to fish out of Fort Pickens. Mid 70's- 80. Old school and cable leaders big 16/0 reel is a a shark hook that you seen in the movie Jaws

I don't have a kayak, but I have fished for sharks in small boats in southFl. I always carried a bang stick, 12 ga, no problem getting them in the boat after dispatching them.

you dont want to hang your catch over the side on a stringer with sharks around. This happened to me and I got pulled around. It was in one of my videos.... the last time I did that.

Sharks are unbelieveable flexible. They can twist around and bit you right in the neck if you try to hold them in 2 hands....All good advice Jack. If you mess with them enough they will get you. Used to work in and around large public aquariums so I'm very accustomed to handling them. Listen to Jack.

I've landed my share of black tips on the Texas Gulf Coast. Depends on their size if I try to take my hook back. Anything over 3 feet is going to have a new grill for a while.

Good info here, thanks! Been at this for a little while, but there's always an opportunity to learn something new. I've never had a close call with Mr. Smiley on the yak or in the boat, but they can sure be a pain to deal with. Good eats, though!

Jack did you see that dude in California who got chased to shore by a huge shark? He was Lucky as Hell. He had to fight it off.
