When I was working as a medic in Chicago I was driving around doing errands and I witnessed a wheelchair (electric) bound man get too close to the edge and one wheel fell off that edge. This was a very busy street and he was extremely close to falling into the busy street. I pulled my car across 4 lanes to block the farthest lane and jumped out just in time to catch him as his wheelchair fell into traffic. Others saw this and pulled over lifting his heavy chair back on to the sidewalk. We put him back in his chair and I assessed him for injuries. He made sure the chair was working and we all went our separate ways. We need to watch out for each other no matter who we worship, how we worship, and where we worship. SPREAD KINDNESS!!!!

The fact so many hate on your faith is sick to me ! I still remember as a kid shortly after 9-11 I was at a pizza place with my mom, a women in a hijab came in and this disgusting man starts screaming GET HER OUT SHES A TERRORIST ! And starts cursing at her and she left crying :( !!! I was just a kid but I think about this all the time and wish I ran after her and told her she is loved .
I still remember my mom then having ti explain to me how no Muslim is a terrorist and the people who made 9-11 happen were just evil people and not what a Muslim was . So I will ALWAYS defend any of you if I see it ! While I may not be a Muslim I respect you all so much 🥺🥺🥺🥺

I’ve always admired the modest and beautiful Islamic clothing.
As a woman I know how it feels to be stared at and judged and never want to make anyone feel that. I’ve been awkward before when serving food in a restaurant years ago. I overcompensated and know I did not make proper eye contact, and looked at my paper while writing the order down.

We’ve never interacted in real life but you’ve truly helped me gain perspective and a deeper understanding of how I can support Muslim women (circumstance depending of course!)
