I met Norm once and he was stupid nice, and somehow accidentally funny on purpose. I told him I wanted to do what he did on SNL and he said "if you want to get fired, there are easier jobs to get first"

Choosing an OJ joke to close it all out was really symbolically powerful. Almost like an f-you to NBC for firing him over them. I miss Norm so much.

I love that SNL chose the last joke that they did considering some big wig at NBC got him fired from the show because of it - As it should be: Norman gets the last laugh=D. RIP Norm!

I teared up seeing that last joke there. Clearly, the folks at SNL were saying something by selecting it. Missing you already, Norm.

I was certain they wouldn’t include any O.J. Jokes, the comedians must’ve fought for that one. Glad they put it in because it shows what Norm was all about, Going against the grain and being yourself even if it hurts you financially and pisses everyone else off. STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF.

The "lucky stabbin' hat" joke is an all time favorite. The first time I heard it, I laughed so hard that I missed the rest of Update. Possibly the funniest thing anyone has ever said on that show.
