Such a mad lad...after I found out that he spent so much of his personal time with the troops, and being an all-around amazing, very caring person, I couldn't think of him more highly. Tony Soprano is arguably one of the greatest characters in TV history, and Gandfolfini was taken from us way too soon.

RIP big fella, you were a treasure.

My mum got a photo with him. She is a massive sopranos fan and on a flight to NYC he sat right next to her! (This was in 2009) and he was a absolute gentleman to mum! They wouldn’t stop talking for the whole flight and the photo at jfk was awesome

The way he’s able to properly play the character in a comedy setting shows how talented the man was. It’s very difficult to play a pre existing character earnestly in a comedy sketch setting. What a king of a man.
