Norman Gene Macdonald was a Canadian stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. His stand-up style was characterized by a slow, almost stuttering deadpan delivery and the use of folksy, old-fashioned turns of phrase. He appeared in many films and was a regular guest on late-night talk shows, where he became best known for telling shaggy dog stories.

No one man could have made all them mistakes. How can one man leave one bloody glove at the crime scene, take the matching glove to his own house, drip blood all up and down Rockingham Boulevard, blood in the bushes, blood in the grass, left his hat on top of one of the bodies, blood on the outside of the Bronco, blood inside the Bronco, he got to his house climbed over wall but not open the gate, knocked on the wall and woke someone up. OJ couldn't have done that. The O'Jays couldn't have done all that. As for Johnny Cochrane, he so smooth he got OJ thinking he didn't really do it.
