I don’t know who Kayla itsines is, but I need to work out like her for 6 weeks

I'd recommend Natacha Oceane's workout programme, she's really chill about food intake and does intuitive eating and incorporates a lot of variety in her workouts(HIIT, functional and resistance)

«I always feel better after working out» if I ever feel better after working out it’s because I know i’m never doing it again.

why do I enjoy workout transformation videos when I have no intent on doing these lol

There’s clearly some kind of sponsor/publicity relationship between Buzzfeed and Kayla. Why aren’t they being upfront about it tho?

They should do this with a Programm from hasfit. Since those are completely free it might motivate more people to get off the couch.

The biggest difference you can notice is the change in her posture.

Kayla’s workouts are a good place to start providing you don’t have any lower joint problems as it’s a lot of jumping/plyometric exercises however her nutrition guide is a solid no just don’t do it even without intensive workouts you shouldn’t be eating as little as 1200 it won’t end well and it is not sustainable

I found with stretching before and after and setting stuff up it still would take me closer to an hour doing the Kayla workouts. And I didn’t push myself on my own as much as I do in the gym. I know it works amazing for some people but wasn’t my thing

Everyone complaining they didn't disclose the price - clearly you managed to find it on your own so guess it wasn't a big deal they didn't mention it after all!
$120 a YEAR for a fitness program is a steal. That's $10 a month. That's skipping 2 cups of Starbucks coffee every month and it's paid for.
My local gym costs $130 a MONTH, I'd be raving if I found a program I loved and that worked for $120 a year!

I’ve done Kayla’s guide a couple times. I use it more as a guide when I’m losing motivation to work out and I can’t be bothered to make a gym plan, it’s nice that there’s a months worth of workout scheduling already done for me. It’s not realistic in the long term though. It’s entirely pylometric based and the calories she recommends to eat is insanely low. If I do continue her workouts when I get my motivation back, I’ll do one or two a week and also incorporate weight training. And make sure you eat enough!

You know what else helps you lose weight? Getting proper sleep.

I was trying to fix my body after graduation. Started by fixing sleep patterns--lost 5lbs that week. Then cutting fast food--lost about 7lbs after a couple weeks. Started walking in the evenings, not a lot, 1-1.5 miles. Lost 3lbs after a few more weeks. It was slow but steady. No extreme diet or hard exercise, but easy to maintain. Going on 8 months now :)

I love that this was something that you did "on your own"! As opposed to the personal trainer videos that I feel like are more common, this really seems like something I could do myself! It's very motivating!

Kayla’s guides are highly effective and her food guides are just that, a guide for anyone who doesn’t have a clue about good food, it needs to be tailored to your own body and even Kayla will say that. I changed my unhealthy food habits to good ones and just portioned my food and I still found pretty great results. She promotes “strong” not skinny.
Also I could barely walk the next week after the first leg workout.
