I really like these shorts. I hope you do one on balance. Mine is terrible and it prevents me from doing things like lunges or split squats properly.

another thing that i've found helpful to decrease butt wink is increasing adductor mobility and/or flexibility

we have different joints some can have a more narrower stance than him and have no butt wink some needs a wider stance, wish could have known this sooner i thought i just had a weak back or something been training my back like crazy then i started doing goblet squats then realized i just needed a winder stance smh

Very informative. I plan on getting a pair of lifting shoes. Now that I’ve take squatting a lot more serious, I feel the need for a proper pair of shoes. I currently do my squats barefoot but even then I feel an imbalance towards the bottom of the squat preventing me from going heavier. The reality is that I can do great form squats with lighter weights but as soon as I try it with 2-3 45lbs on each side I start to feel the imbalances even more.

I just watched the video that was very extensive on this showing many studies that suggest there is no significant injury risk to butt wink.

so how does this work if you have a lot of internal rotation and your hips dont really want a wider stance?

Put the weight on your back just go down however your body wants to go. Everybody structure different tall short ect
