[SHORT FILM] STEADY-STATE: HUMAN BEHAVIOR

This short film explores the idea of what a steady-state economy is comprised of and how it could positively impact human behavior and our survival on the planet. The consequences of the present free market economic model are discussed in terms of how it affects human behavior in an unsustainable way. Greater emphasis on teaching sustainable 'consumption skills' in school education becomes outlined.

what happens if the goal is steady state opportunity for other species and ecologies. what does that do to our priorities and ways we can self manage? population growth is a factor too. having things like war for profit is a spiralling problem.

Ok, so what I'm understanding from this video is that a steady-state economy would cease to focus on economic growth, but would set its focal point on things that matter, such as relationships & well-being. Would this system only apply to countries that have reached its full growth? What about the countries that have not met acceptable living standards?
