This is the only way how a company functions long term. Loved the Four Seasons example with Noah! Trust is the THING - thank you for sharing, making sure as a leader to be aware of it. Often, this deep pure trust is felt when we are born into the world and it is the most important emotion we can give our children as a parent. Trust, Safe Space and belonging

LOVE is "emotional"
For sure people are not towels and the leaders certainly don't have to wring them out to bring out the most out of them.Just give them their space and don't only accept their flaws but embrace them.
Simon is phenomenal in expressing the most ABSTRACT of things in such a profound way that i can't even describe in words.

Someone who finally gets it. My motto was always that people don`t work FOR the manager but rather that the manager is working for their people. The job of the employee is to DO their jobs. The manager is there to support them by empowering them to make decisions, ensuring they have the right tools & training and especially that they are well. In every way.

Quite often we find ourselves in environments where leaders are working against each other instead of working together for the greater good of the organization. It boils down to
"Just keeping your head under the radar and collect your paycheck"
