Happy Veganuary! I am often asked if it is safe for children to follow vegan or plant-based diets and how to make sure they are getting all the nutrients they need. Often The short answer is yes, but only if done right. There are lots of reasons people choose to eat less animal products - health, ethics, the environment. “Veganuary “is a challenge where for one month people try eating a vegan diet to see how it makes them feel and explore if it is something they might want to do. Vegan + January = Veganuary - there you go! Some people want to switch to eating a more plant-based diet but don’t want to go fully vegan. There’s lots to consider, so, let's talk about it!
