Wow this is just what we need for our apartment renovation! We also need to fix up the external walls. You mention that this is not desirable due to mold and moist. How would you renew those walls? A wooden frame and fasten drywall with screws?

Start to use metal construction instead wood construction and just use screws if wood start to bend it will bend you can't stop it
