Very flawed comparison; very un-scientific. To be a good comparison, all 4 would have been applied in exactly the same way - the amount of adhesive would have to be the same, the pattern of application would have to be the same, the force used to break the bond would have to be applied in exactly the same way; etc., etc. etc. We never see the pattern of application on the first adhesive, but it looks as though it flowed over the foam surface instead of staying in place like the other 3. That would account for the appearance of better bonding, since it would have flowed to more surface area. But in fact 3 of the 4 did exactly what was expected. They tore the sheetrock backing from the sheetrock in the area of adhesive application. The only adhesive which did not bond well was the Sakrete.

Do they Make a 70/30 -50/50 Drywall and Foam board mix? If not, why not?

I had to remove the 1/2" Drywall in my Summer Home to Get 3.5" Insulation inbtwn the studs. ( It Had None) . But, I Replaced the 1/2" Drywall with 1/4" Drywall over 1/2" Foam Board . Using Liquid Nails foam Board to Studs and DW to the foam board.. & used 50% Less DW Screws & giving me a R 21 wall ( +16.7% more R value) vs a R 18 with using 3.5" Insulation & 1/2 Drywall. And When Installed Outside Siding, Added 1/4" Foam Board to the Vynil Siding, using Liquid Nails.. Giving the VS more stability & Firmer Appearance and R3 value. The Outside 3.5" stud walls now have R24 value & +33% More R value vs just a R 18 using just 3.5" FG Insulation & Traditonal Materials of Vynil siding, Plywood and Drywall .

It's been 10 yrs and so far so very good!

Adding a 2nd-1 + 1/4" thick wall to the Interior, ( 1"-R6 HD Foam Board over the Exisiting Drywall and 1/4" Drywall over the 1" HD Foam Board. ) boosting the R value by 28% , maybe the next experiment . In the Attic, I add a 3" HD Foam Board to the existing 6" Fiberglass and Liquid Nail glued FB to the Rafters over the FBG inbtwn the rafters, ... to boost the R Value by + *R21.. was R 30, now R 51. and strong enough to walk on with needing to add Plywood flooring in the attic for storage. * New HD Foam Board is now R 7 per 1 ".

The comparison must be blinded and similar to be fair and unbiased.!
Without these parameters the winner is the highest payer!

Comparison is useless since you lifted each panel diferently. How much is Greatstuff paying you?
