Why use adhesive if using screws anyway

Screws are good enough this just seams like a way for companies to make more money but probly need that glue for those short as screws and how long does it take for the glue to dry don't want it to dry out as it's just sitting there and you can't mat to dry run your cut first so your not just going to have it waiting it's may be easy if your working on a brand new house but doing repairs or making additions on old houses shit isn't always square

I hate that glue! It makes taking the sheet rock off that needs to be replaced very difficult.
