A Parenting Tip for Dads with Daughters

All fathers worry about their daughters, especially as the teenage years approach.

Well, I've come up with a handy-dandy way to keep teen (and college) boys from taking advantage of your precious little angel.

You have to start young, though, so hopefully this reaches you dads in time.

Protect those girls of yours!

I'm a stepfather of two, boy and girl. I'll forever remember the day the teenage girlchild brought home a bit of a cocky new boyfriend and introduced me to him by saying, this is my stepdad, fuck with me and he'll break your legs. This from an at the time fairly timid appearing girl with mild anxiety issues. I know I probably shouldn't be, but I'm rather proud of that moment.

My Adoptive Daughter got to know how fast her old Dad could move day her ex boyfriend was stupid enough to take a swing at her, in front of me.
Afterwards, she said: That block you taught me worked!
I have never seen you move so fast. From sitting down you took 4 steps. I blinked, You had him against fence, by the throat. His feet were off the ground! You had that military bark.

I just got up and gave firm, unarguable instruction!

My father in law is a huge teddy bear of a guy. If you didn’t know him, you’d swear he was a real badass. My brother in law’s favorite story is of my wife’s first date in high school. When the boy showed up, my father in law was sitting at the dining room table, cleaning his .45. He casually conversed with the boy for a while, and then he flipped the action, and after the click he said, “What time ya gonna have her home?” My wife said the kid spent the whole night, checking his watch. But this guy has a great idea, too. 😅
