Also you have to have a big tank and a goos filter in order to keep them. My parents bought 3 goldfish for our 60l aquarium and the filter cant even suck up the goldfish food, it just stays on the filter, becomes mold, causes the water to turn green. But surprisingly, weve had the 3 goldfish for like a year and theyre actually doing amazing

I want to do it a couple times just to do it. It's always one that I've wanted to do is raise a batch of two of babies and see what colors you get.

depending what your purpose is for breeding fish, i recommend anyone start out with some endlers livebearers. they’re basically just fancy guppies. you won’t make a ton of money off them, at first you’ll barely break even, but they’re insanely easy to breed. literally just get a kiddie pool with gravel in the bottom, toss in a couple sponge filters and some floating plants/moss, and wait. they’ll start multiplying like crazy, if you start off with just like 7 of them in a kiddie pool you probably won’t even need to do a water change since they’re so small and produce such a small amount of waste. you won’t even need a heater if their water stays above 70 degrees naturally in whatever room they’re in. an added bonus is that once you’ve had their setup running for awhile and can be sure that water quality is really good (specifically PH levels staying constant since ammonia shouldn’t be a problem with enough filtration and plants as long as you don’t add like 50 new endlers at once) you can start breeding shrimp in the same setup, although they might need slightly warmer water. the endlers will eat a few of the shrimp babies, but most of them will survive in the moss and plants, and the shrimp will actually help keep the setup clean by eating tiny pieces of food that the endlers miss, which becomes important once their colony has gotten large. breeding shrimp is definitely more lucrative than endlers, and by starting with endlers you’re basically just preparing. you could even breed bristlenose plecos in the same setup by adding some caves, they shouldn’t affect the endlers but might eat some shrimp eggs

You can do a "how to" step programs like using masterclass where people can pay to learn a step by step program on how to handle a breed and care for gold fish
